Water Rescue and Recovery |
| SAR's mission does not stop at the water's edge. From inland waters to the great Pacific Ocean, SAR has Dive Teams to get the job done. Work-a-day folks, and recreational divers, who find the time to train and prepare for when the need arises. On any given day with a sack lunch in hand, and a "Honey, I'm off", they may get a call and find themselves going to work by boat, jet-ski, or helicopter to save a life, or recover a lost soul. | |

| SAR's Divers don't go it alone, and SAR Dive Teams are not just divers. Many SAR members dedicate they time to learn safety procedures and methods to support the divers during a rescue or recovery. If you are interested in joining a SAR Dive Team, but don't want to dive, we have a place for you as a Dive Tender, or a Boat Crew Member. Holding a rope is every bit as important as getting wet. | |

| At the end of the day you may be tired, but the gradification is over welming. You won't be saying "That's interesting. I could have done that.". You'll be saying "I DID. I DO. I WILL AGAIN. I make a difference!" |
