Your Donations Save Lives!

Search and Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization* established to protect life in unincorporated areas of Mendocino County under the direction of the Sheriff Department's Office of Emergency Services Division. While the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office provides space for meetings/trainings, fuel for SAR Vehicles, and even feeds us on Search Missions, we depend largely on generous donations from citizens and local businesses to make ends meet and purchase the equipment necessary to continue providing the best possible service to citizens who need our help. All donations are used for equipment and training that directly serve people in dire need of rescue.

With around sixty missions per year, chances are very good that you know someone personally who has been directly impacted by Search and Rescue efforts. Your donation may one day help save the life of a friend or neighbor!
